The Below Dropbox links will allow you to download .tilt files to open on a VR/Mixed Reality compatible headset that supports the app Openbrush ( formerly Tiltbrush).

Instructions for downloading and opening .tilt files

Click on links. you will be taken to the Dropbox site in your browser that will say " can't load this file type" "or image not available" ignore this. there will be a download button that says download press it. Ignore the drop down menu on the download button, just click on the download button. file should download to your "downloads" folder on your computer. You may get a pop up that prompts you to" log in or join dropbox". If this happens there is writing at the bottom of pop up that says "or continue with download only" if that happens click on that writing. It may end up with a pop up at bottom of page that says " your download should start soon. If it doesn't, go back to try again" if that happens go back to download button Try clicking the button for download several times. But it should download to Download folder in file exporer. Look there then copy and paste .tilt file to My Documents>Openbrush> Sketches in file exporer on computer. for free standing mixed reality headsets such as Oculus 3, the procress of getting .tilt file is more involved, connecting headset via USB to computer where download is, and copy and pasting to openbrush sketches folder via your computer file exporer menu. Then you need to install Openbrush app for VR hesadset. Open up Openbrush app in VR headset. You will need to figure out how to navigate using Openbrush app with headset on. There will be an opening Openbrush introductory Openbrush sculpture that will appear with Openbrush logo. When that is done look at where your hands are holding the turned on hand controllers. There should be a pointer in one and a three dimensional menu that says "new sketch" or " your sketches" the file will be there to open in "your sketches". Once you open the sketch there will be a rotating menu with a color wheel, brush stoke types, and another menu that gives you option to teleport press this and you can then move around the sculpture or move closer or farther away. The download is free you do not have to join Dropbox to obtain it. However, keep in mind the works are copyrighted. My apologies for the cumbersome process.

In the Openbrush environment holograms can be approximated by choosing pass through mode in environment settings on some mixed reality headsets only . These pieces are really intended for display in real world environments as holograms. However, the technology is not quite there yet. However there is an option on some VR/mixed reality headsets such as Oculus 3 or some HTC Vive headsets within the Openbrush environment to allow pass through mode which will result in the headset taking real-time video of the environment as the background creating an approximation of the hologram experience. These pieces are meant for a time when technology allows for a more ubiquitous experience of mixed reality on a more mass scale with less intrusive glasses or in a dream contacts. For instance the Landscape sculpture series is meant for display at an actual landscape sculpture garden. The despair/alienation figures for dark dimly lit rooms high ceilings square adjacent to one another. The fashion pieces for a time when they could be worn around in public visible to those with glasses, again a time for more widespread use, the fashion pieces could perhaps be configured to have flow like cloth. Keep in mind pieces may present differently in pass through mode where the floor of the piece may need to be adjusted and some present better in darker light, others it makes no difference, or a brighter environment is better. some are not meant for room scale because of their large size. that said scale may need to be adjusted to fit room environment scale.
